Tens of thousands of people have already come to visit this unique monument in Western Europe. But here it is! The climatic differences, between our torrid and too dry summers and our rainy and humid winters, accelerate a completely unexpected process of rotting of the wood. In less than ten years this monument could disappear! So much effort, so much hope, so much beauty could be destroyed. We must act quickly to remedy the damage caused by time, wood-eating pests and fungi.
